NaphCare Inc., Expands Medical Care Partnership With Federal Medical Center (FMC) Butner in Butner, North Carolina
BIRMINGHAM, AL – NaphCare, Inc., a Birmingham, AL based independent provider of comprehensive correctional healthcare and corrections-based technology services, was recently awarded a new five-year contract expanding services as a medical partner with the Federal Medical Center (FMC), located in Butner, NC.
NaphCare began its partnership with FMC Butner earlier in 2012 through an award for services including on-site diagnostic imaging, radiation therapy, and neuro-diagnostic for an average inmate population of 5,016. This newly awarded contract, will require NaphCare to begin services immediately. NaphCare services for FMC Butner will include general surgery and gastroenterology. These services also will provide specialty clinical consults and follow-ups in addition to necessary surgical procedures.
